This is Kelly, we’ve been friends since middle school. We didn’t be in contacted too frequently when I was abroad. She has a typical urban life in China, got a office job, got married, shopping and eat when she’s free. Last month, she contacted me on the next day I arrived to China. She didn’t ask about how was I doing, just simply said that she needs help for her confusion. The only people I don’t like to help is people who think life suppose to be perfect on his/her way. Kelly was open to me about her depression and confession. I told her that we should go to camping. Nanning is the city we grew up in, no one even went camping. If I have never lived overseas, I would never know what is camping like. I told Kelly if we want to do something, we should find our way to make it happen. We started to search online, there is not a lot, but luckily we've found some hiking group do camping around Nanning. So here we were for the last weekend, we spent a whole weekend on the mountains by following a hiking group. The group is organised by a few men whose in their 40s, only two other girls showed up on the trip. At first, those guys are looking at us thought we were on the wrong group. Because we don't have professional equipment and we look too young to join this kind of activity. I told the organizer we are not here for misson, we are not going to walk 30 miles on the mountains, we just want to enjoy the nature and have a safe night outdoor that's why we are following them. At the beginning, some guys were being a bit of sarcastic about how weak we were. I know they didn't mean to look down on girls. Most of people in China know how to follow the rule, but they are not good t follow their hearts. We still didn't hike to the top of the hill, because we just chose to be simple and easy. At the end of the trip, those guys who think women are weaker than men, are understand we are not chickens. At least we proved that we are able to say what we want and follow our hearts, and that's ok to refuse to follow the majority. At the same time, I have yo admire they are able to be the minority of the Chinese society. They are definitely nice and had taken care of us a lot. Finally, I think I am proud of how much kelly could engage herself with nature and totally enjoy the other world other than her comfy zone.

The Shiny oneThe rainy oneBack to the third months in Brighton, I hadn't seen any sunshine by the time, but I was already in love with it. This town, called London's Back Garden, is not just an appurtenant, it's not just the seaside and some colorful little houses, it can be more artistic than London. Today's comparison of the Vintage market, London brick lane I like very much, but every Sunday there is a stall, even the general open underground retro market, the actual sale of antiquities are no longer real. If you're in Brighton, the lane's entire store has niche designer merchandise; The main thing is a two-story, real retro market that opens seven days a week with old books, used records, cameras, and all sorts of unexpected things. Of course, there is not as much food as London snack street, but the choice of shops is very artistic, organic coffee shop, vegan self-help is love, of course, not forget the diversity of small international restaurants. Bookstores and thrift stores are just a few steps away, with record stores and sometimes bands playing inside. The weather has warmed up the literary youth. From May to July, there will be different festivals, Art shows, and vegetarian festivals (where vegetarians are not religious, but mostly influenced by the hippie culture of the 70s and 80s). I talked to some local youths in Brighton who said they liked it here, but not everyone could stay. Because the price of one hour from London is affected by London, many people live here and go to work in London.
I can't believe how many landscape photos I've shot since I am in England. Ashdown forest, another breathtaking woods near London. I thought I wouldn't be surprised by how fabulous is the Countryside after four months living in England. But it still a big wow for me as soon as I walked into Ashdown Forest. We had two hours briefly walk under the sunshine, I've pressed the shutter hundred times.
I was invited by a friend to Emerson College in Forest Row, where a bit south east of London. When he told me that studying art in small college, I swear I had no idea what is Steiner school. But I am so grateful that I had gone. It's 40 minutes by bus from me, as soon as I got off the bus, I had to walk into the farm keep walking for 20 minutes, it's organic farm with some cute arts on the way.
